Frequently asked questions
How long does eliquid last when vaping?
That depends a lot on you, how you vape and what kind of eliquid you buy! On average, though, a 60ml bottle of eliquid should last approximately 7 days. If you use a vape at a high wattage, or are a heavy user, you may go through 60ml quicker than this. When deciding on an eliquid, consider how much you vape on a week to week basis, and also what different eliquid flavours you may like to try over the course of your vaping.
How long does an eliquid last after opening?
The shelf life of an eliquid is two years from its manufacture date. In the course of your vaping, if you store your bottle correctly and ensure that it remains sealed, your eliquid will last to the extent of that shelf life. Key to this is ensuring that your eliquid container is rapidly resealed after opening to minimise its exposure to the elements. When storing your eliquid, keep it somewhere cool, dry and out of sunlight. Keeping to the above guidelines with respect to your storage and use will preserve the best possible flavour profiles for your vaping!
What is in eliquid?
There are four main ingredients contained in eliquids. These are propylene glycol (PG), vegetable glycerine (VG), flavouring and nicotine. The VG and PG are additives from the food industry that are typically used to sweeten or preserve food. It’s the blend of these four ingredients that create a flavour, of which we have some of the best Australian budget eliquids in store! You can find more information on what eliquids contain at our FAQ here.
Where can I buy eliquid?
Right here!! The Vape Joint has a brilliant selection of eliquids in stock, both from international and Australian eliquid suppliers, and our very own superb creations. We looked at the market and thought there was room for something that tasted great but wasn’t excessively expensive, and so set about creating Australia’s best budget eliquid. Check it out!
How do you mix eliquid?
All of our eliquids are premixed, meaning this isn’t something you need to worry about - you can literally buy and vape! Mixing Australian eliquids is all about finding that right ratio between flavour, PG and VG. PG and VG are additives used in the food industry that are used in vaping for regulating the volume of vape, the flavour and the ‘throat feel’ of the vapour. You can find more details on all of this in our FAQs.
The only other aspect of mixing eliquids is the process of mixing nicotine into the liquid. You can refer to our guides here for instruction on how to safely and correctly do this. It’s also important to note that it is illegal to trade liquid nicotine in any way, so no products sold through thevapejoint.com.au contain nicotine, and nicotine must be procured and mixed independently of our products.
